In line with strengthening international academic partnerships and expanding student exchange opportunities, the French Institute of Marrakech hosted Student Day on October 14, featuring a high-level delegation representing three leading Canadian universities from Quebec: the University of Montreal, HEC Montreal, and Polytechnique Montreal, providing students in Marrakech with a direct opportunity to explore international higher education options and learn about available academic and applied specialties,

while the dedicated booths experienced strong attendance to learn about admission requirements and study tracks, with the University of Montreal highlighting its diverse research programs, HEC Montreal showcasing its management and entrepreneurship offerings, and Polytechnique Montreal presenting its expertise in engineering and technology,

where Ms. Amira Aboukhair and her colleagues provided comprehensive answers regarding admission procedures, obtaining the Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ), study permits, and temporary resident visas, alongside explaining the legal framework for student work, which permits international students to work off-campus up to 24 hours per week during academic sessions and full-time during official university breaks, serving as a key support mechanism for funding studies and facilitating professional integration in Canada, reflecting the depth of academic dialogue between Morocco and Canada while reinforcing the commitment to providing reliable guidance for Moroccan youth
